Yadani, an Oromo student, on crunch was also among the harshly beaten
(FB – Solomon Ungashe) — Police arrest “large” number of female Addis Ababa Uniersity Oromo students from Sidist Killo campus today according to a voicemail, I received from a reliable friend in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The girls were savagely beaten according to the report.
Among those severely beaten and arrested is a disabled young lady named Yadani who uses crutches for walking. The police not only beat her until she fell on the ground but also took her away without her crutches. Yadani is a 3rd year student majoring Afaan Oromo with Lomitu Waqbulcho who was arrested with Herut Tole Yesterday.
Elsewhere in Addis Ababa police have been looking for singer Mulu Baqqalaa. They went to her home today when finding out she was not home, they beat her mother and her sister shown in the attached photo.
