April 11, 2014 (gadaa) — The TPLF-led Ethiopian Habesha Government controlling Oromia militarily is stepping up its abuse of the Oromo people.
About six months ago (in November 2013 – see the date, though in Geez Calendar, in the document attached below), the TPLF army evicted Oromo farmers from their ancestral land in Kilinto, Oromia, under the disguise of making way for the so-called “Kilinto Industrial Zone” – land to be distributed to Habesha “INVESTORS,” aka Neo-Neftegna’s, after being snatched from the Oromo farmers. Kilinto is near Akaki in the Surrounding of Finfinnee (Addis Ababa). What’s more, according to documents acquired by Gadaa.com, the TPLF-led Ethiopian Habesha Government is planning to evict all Oromos in the Surrounding Region of Finfinnee under similar “Industrial Zone” schemes.
The following document lists some of the Oromo farmers who have been evicted from their ancestral land in Kilinto, Oromia. Included in the list of TPLF-sponsored eviction are women farmers as well as an 80-year-old farmer.
